Who We Are

Innovation into Action was a grant programme to develop radical or new ways of involving council tenants in managing their homes in authorities across England. This programme was managed by the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and funded by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) through their Tenant Empowerment Programme. The IiA programme has now finished.

This site contains information and Good Practice Guides & Toolkits from the projects funded by the programme. It also contains an Innovation Guide to help residents think of their own ideas and where to apply for funding. We hope that this will help to continue innovative ideas in resident involvement.
