Stage Four - Implementation
Once you've had the green light from funders the project can get underway. Make sure everyone knows about your success and that they are kept informed of progress.
It is important to agree on who will lead the project i.e. a project manager. This doesn't have to be a person employed to do it but a person who will ensure the project is implemented according to the plan and remains on track. This person could also be the main contact for the funders and supporters of the project.
You will need to ask the following:
It is always a good idea to involve the community - think of holding a launch party or distributing a newsletter - or some new and imaginative way of getting attention. Keeping people involved/informed is also very important, especially the funders. This can help the success of the project as people remain on board and have a sense of ownership of the project so they will do their best to help in anyway they can.
